BUYER BEWARE. This seller sold us a Wallaby and at the last minute told us that he had a "scratch on his hand" and that she was sending antibiotics. She sent a pic with the hand in the distance barely visible. When we received the Poor Wallaby his hand was Mangled, SWOLLEN 5X ITS ORGINAL SIZE and unusable at all to the wallaby. After 4 vet visits and consultations we are now 3 weeks down the road. This seller, Penny Reno, will not respond to us stating that she is vacationing in Europe for 30 days. We have asked for a refund. To no avail. Our b\vet bills are now more than the purchase price. Worst of all, this poor animal is in a lot of pain and may end up losing his hand or his life. Additionally, Ms. Reno did not provide the transfer papers for us to legally take possession of this Wallaby. We are doing everything to try and heal this boy. This is not what we expected from any seller. We are still asking for Ms. Reno to make this good, but she is ignoring us. If that changes, we will update this post/review.
further discussion with seller-she is claiming that I somehow and a bad animal keeper and not taking responsibility for this. Our animals are beloved pets with the best care possible. Folks who see out animals state that they want to come back one day as one of our animals. Seller is turning the tables so she can refuse to stand behind her sale. I am reporting her to the animal welfare office as well as to the Florida fish and game.
Nina Plail was informed of the cut on the wallabies paw. He was taken to a zoo specialist and given antibiotics as well as a tissue biopsy, also had X-rays to make sure there was no fracture. She was at a birthday party and couldn't come to get him so she sent a couple to pick him up. They were given full instructions along with the medication prescribed by the vet. Nina Plail stated she couldn't send a copy of her license information until she returned home from her "party". Her employees came to pick up the wallaby and left. She knew we were leaving for vacation at 5:00 a.m. the next morning. I have sent her all of the vets information. After 1 day she advised me her vet advised her to change the prescribed medication and that the paw was broken. This is a complete lie per the vet X-ray. They transported him in a dog crate. His paw was not mangled when he left our care. If it was or was broken, it happen after he left us.
